The Mars Phoenix mission is a recently ended mission to Mars.

Its main goal was to look for water on Mars. Its secondary goal was to assay the surface conditions of Mars' near-polar environment.

The spacecraft landed in May, 2008, and the mission came to an end at the onset of Martian winter in November, 2008.
