Lastly, there is SETI, the
Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence.
We will talk more about SETI in a week or two
since SETI is really a search not for habitable
worlds -- since there is no search for planets
or their conditions involved -- but rather for
inhabited worlds.
The question of relevance here, though, is this:
"What stars are being searched, and why those?"
This is the same question as I asked at the beginning
of the lecture: What are we searching for, and
where are we searching?
