Some history of astronomy

The next part of our journey takes us to Denmark.

Danish astronomer and playboy Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) accepted an offer from King Frederick II to build an observatory in rural Denmark. The observatory was called Uraniborg:

Uraniborg was staffed entirely by young women, and probably not for their advanced training in astronomy.
