Electromagnetic radiation, light, and the spectrum

Electromagnetic radiation is a broader term that includes visible light but also radio waves, microwaves, X-rays, etc. This entire range is called the electromagnetic spectrum.

Red is the longest wavelength of visible light.

Blue is the shortest wavelength of visible light.
