Newton's laws
Isaac Newton (British, 1642-1727)
proposed three laws that helped explain
how he saw the world.
NI: A body at rest will stay at rest unless
there is a force on it. A body in motion will
stay in motion unless there is a force on it.
NII: The acceleration of a body is directly
proportional to the force acting on it.
NIII: For every action there is
an equal and opposite reaction.
Great. So what does this mean?
